Windscreen Repairs

Unfortunately, it's all to easy to get a stone chip in your windscreen. while it's tempting to ignore such chips or cracks in your windscreen, it is important that you deal with them as soon as they occur to avoid any further damage to the glass and for your safety.

A windscreen repair is accomplished by injecting a specially formulated liquid resin into the damaged area. The resin is then cured with UV light to make a structural bond with the glass and then scraped flat to the surface of the glass and polished to restore structural strength and clarity to the glass.

Windscreen repair is performed without destroying the windscreens factory’s safety seal. This seal holds the windscreen securely in place during collisions and that ensures the airbag will deploy properly.

If your chip is smaller than a £2 coin and is situated further than 6cm from the edge of the windscreen we're confident that the chip is repairable however if its larger than this unfortunately your windscreen may need replacing.
